Welcome to living in reality...........we are a christian base ministry that is focused on the youth of today. My name is Mike and i am the co/founder of this ministry I am 32 yr old man who has experienced more than 9 years of incarceration and 16 years of making bad choices.
I am on a mission to impact today's youth by presenting young people with my testimony, which focuses on making meaningful decisions and how each choice effects our daily lives.
Topics that I bring to the forefront of the discussion include: Decision Making, Salvation and Sincerity.
I realize that today's youth struggle with the delusion that "this will never happen to me." I once operated under the same delusion. I was a good student in high school, a college participant, yet due to my poor choices I spent my entire 20's in prison.
I hope that none of you ever have to experience the hardship and heartache of a bad decision because it not only effects you personally but it will and does devastate the ones that love you.

I've known Michael since the day he was released from prison over a year ago. He has made amazing strides to make a better life for himself. He has made this ministry his main focus in his life.

ReplyDeletei've known mike since his spiritual birthday(2 months ago - Hallelujah) and we aint looking back. actually, we have to look back to learn so history doesnt repeat, but we look back thru Godly lenses to improve the present and bring true hope for the future.

God planted Mike in my life on December 5, 2009. Our lives will never be the same. His spirituality and faith have grown tremendously since that day and I continue to grow as well through the relationship. At first I thought that I was not the one for this role He so perfectly aligned. But who am I to ever question God my Father. I know now that it was for the growth and benefit of both Mike and me. We have become Brothers and will remain so forever. Each day we continue to learn more and travel further in our Journey. All for His Kingdom.

I knew Mike in High school. He was always a sweetheart. It takes a good heart to make something so good and positive from a bad situation. I wish him the best of luck and pray for his strength to stay a positive advocate to everyone in his path! I am proud of him for turning his life around.

Today I prayed for you....and all I could see was that God knows you, loves you...and your journey is very special to Him. I'm so totally there.....and very excited to share in that with you!!!! You are in my heart forever....and the author of that foundation is forever....how cool is that! There are many, many kids that will be impacted for the better by your sacrifice and teaching...May the Lord bless you and keep you forever in His fold...

ReplyDeleteI'm a person who has been honored to call Mike friend.I have been sober 29 yrs through the miracle of the AA program and the grace of God.I'm very impressed by the work that Mike has successfully undertaken for our needy youth who lack example and structure so bad today and can perhaps be reached only by someone who has ,like Mike ,experienced just the mistakes and consequences they are inherently prepared to enter into blindly and without guidance otherwise.You've been spared,MIKE FOR A VERY NOBLE PURPOSE.I BELIEVE THIS.
